This is a transcript of the video published on 8/12/26 by Bob Schlenker of The Open Scroll, titled: A Crisis in the UK: My book can't be shipped there because it's "religious" and therefore obscene and offensive. Hey everybody, Bob at the Open Scroll here. Well, I got something really noteworthy to tell ya about an experience I had earlier today. I had been sending out books in the mail and I went to the post office with a box of books to send to a friend in Kansas City and I got this envelope which I had taken to the post office and brought back with me. Now, why would I do that? Because it's illegal to send them where I wanted to send them. And yeah, you should know about this. So, I packed up two of the books in that envelope and let me read to you what I wrote in an email to another friend. Let me tell you what happened to me today at the local post office. It really woke me up to what a crisis the U.K. has on its hands. I had two of my books in an envelope ready to send to a woman in the U.K. She planned to put one in her local neighborhood book share box. First, I gave the clerk a small box of books addressed to a guy in Kansas City. The clerk asked me the usual questions about the contents, whether there was any hazardous materials, etc. Then he asked me to describe the books. I said, paperback. Then he asked me, what kind of books? It wasn't from personal interest, but professional, business. I told him, Christian, non-fiction. I chose to send it USPS media mail and he printed off a label, stuck it on the box, good to go. I handed him the envelope and told him it's going to the U.K. He started to repeat the usual questions, asking also what the value was and what they were for. I told him, ten bucks, donation. Then he paused. He asked, what's in the envelopes? And I told him, books, the same as in the box. He said, these are religious books, right? I said, yes. He told me he couldn't send them because it's illegal and he turned the screen he was looking at so I could see it. It showed the classification of religious books as being obscene or offensive. He told me that if he sent them knowing they were religious books, customs would probably intercept them and he would be liable for sending them. He handed the envelope back to me. As I paid for the postage on the labeled box of books going to Kansas City, a woman standing nearby, who was looking on with interest, looked rather stunned. She said something about how Jesus said to take his word to the nations. Indeed. I knew things were getting pretty bad in the U.K. because I'd been paying attention to what folks are posting on the X platform. It really is a crisis. When I was prompted to write the book and publish it, I felt like it was urgent. It seems like it's too late for the U.K. from one perspective since the only way to get my book through their border would be to smuggle it. Yeah, well, that was interesting. Possibly the most offensive thing that I found at the post office was the price for sending two books, and these are little paperbacks, maybe 80 pages each, right, was over $31. Yeah, well, I didn't end up having to pay that because it was illegal. So, yeah, what's going on? Well, I just used DuckDuckGo, the search engine, to look for censorship in the U.K. regarding religious books. And it looks like this is their excerpt from Wikipedia, book censorship in the United Kingdom. Unlike in some other countries, there are no lists of state-banned books in the United Kingdom and no specific book censorship laws. Book censorship has instead been a demand or outcome of other national laws or local policies and pressure from newspapers, public grassroots protests, and lobby organizations. Historically, organizations including the Proclamation Society, the Society for the Suppression of Vice, and the National Vigilance Association played roles in lobbying for book censorship, dot, dot, dot. So, yeah, so the Postal Service is doing their part, really, for censorship, and it's not just, you know, specific books. It's, yeah, they've kind of waived the whole situation, and now it's religious books that can't be sent through the mail and received in the U.K. Yeah, so that's where they're at. I consider that a crisis. Now, how about the rest of Europe? What's their policy? I don't know. The rest of the world, I don't know. So far as I know, at the moment, we can still distribute, such as the book that I wrote in the United States, yeah, but the way things have gone and the way they're going, I see a limit on all this. You know, the urgency that I've felt has to do with all the other signs that I talk about, and I'll get to one of them in this little sweep through, but there's some other things that I wanted to talk about. First, when you get to the open scroll and you look on the site content page, and I invite you to become really familiar with that to see what speaks to you. Occasionally, I'll get a lot of interest in one thing or another, who is Kane's father. This three-part series was hugely popular for a while, and it kind of fell off the radar, but it still gets a fair amount of response compared to some of the other things that I've written. But I really want to highlight just one thing. I could really emphasize so many of these things, but I think what's most urgent on my heart right now is this three-part series dealing with the testimony of Gethsemane because of the late hour. The Mount of Olives, Separation in the Olive Press Place, Your Final Exam. And if you've never read that before, mmm, highly recommended. So, you'll notice here I have a pretty large number of studies on celestial signs and biblical astronomy. And I want to point out what's going on in the sky. August 12th, it says, might be the best day of the year for sky gazers. Mm-hmm. And so here they have a Stellarium screenshot showing Jupiter, Mars, Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune in the sky. All at the same time, visible in the south-southeast. And this is pretty rare. Not all these are naked-eye planets. Inside these red circles, what you can't see is Uranus and Neptune. But here you can see visibly Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter. So if you have binoculars or a camera that's very sensitive, you can see that. Here's Orion, right? So, along with Jupiter, right here on the horizon is probably Mercury. Right? Just the name didn't come up. So, what does it mean? Well, it means something. It's not a nothing burger. Now, does it mark some significant event? I don't know. It may be just a portent of how things are going in our season. If you want more info on how to interpret these things, well, Heavenly Sign Watching Part 1 and 2 might inform you about the rest of it. There's a lot more that's applicable. And if you've been really fascinated in wanting to learn more about the Word in the Heavens, like as according to Psalm 19, right, which you should be familiar with, you'll find a lot there. And it's been, you know, my own personal education in that has been instrumental in bringing me to the place where the Lord had my attention fully on the signs of the end days. Because we talk about that in this writing, when cometh that thief in the night. So, among the things that are going on, I mentioned signs of the urgency of the hour. And I really have to say that these kind of things at one point were kind of sparse in the news. And because of the frequency and the rate of increase in the frequency and the nature, the importance of the nature of these kinds of discoveries shows a logarithmic curve that goes up, up, up. And so many of these categories that are signs, really, are pointing to a very near cascading transformation of our culture, of our world in every way. How far can this go before the Lord intervenes? You should ask yourself that. Because it's not making mankind trend towards finding Jesus. On one level, yeah, but it's following after those trending signs toward the world demanding the Antichrist. So here we have Science News. World first photonic time crystal. Yes, photonic time crystal opens a new era, that's in time, of light control. The first all-optical photonic time crystal could unlock ultra-fast computers, adaptable communications, and entirely new kinds of lasers. So, yeah, the summary, I'm going to read that too. It's pretty remarkable. And thank you, Adam, for sending these in to me. I really appreciate keeping me informed. Scientists have built the first all-optical photonic time crystal, allowing them to reshape the behavior of terahertz light at extraordinary speeds. The breakthrough could open the door to ultra-fast computing, smarter communication systems, advanced imaging, and a new generation of highly tunable lasers. Could. So what, you might say. Well, things have been turning from could to, hmm, here's a demonstration. And now, yeah, we have applications for this already in progress. Yeah, it goes from this to that, and nothing flat. And the kind of things that are, boy, stacking up in my queue to report of incredibly significant advancements. Wow, yeah, I've just had other projects that have taken priority. Yeah, I'm going to be talking more about those, but not just yet. Apple got a 2.2 billion tariff refund this quarter. And thanks for sending this in to me. This came in because of the, well, the signaling, just in the title alone. Apple got a 2.2, hmm, wait a minute. Yeah, that's a 22, right? The return back and reset code. And that has to do with time, right? And if you've heard it said time is money, well, here we go. Money is time when you invert that. So 2.2 billion, that is definitely a return back and reset of time signal. Multiplied. Tariff, what's that? Well, again, time is money, right? Refund, oh, a refund, what's that? You're getting money back. Hmm, the 2.2, 22, return back and reset. There's your money, time coming back, right? Yeah. This quarter, quarter, what's a quarter? Well, we're not talking about the money here, but that would also be relevant. We're talking about part of the year, right? Yeah, that's another time thing. And Apple, that's relevant also, really. Because what is Apple? Well, you know their logo, right? A bite out of the apple. What's that? That is a very clear reference that seems obscure to some, but it shouldn't be. And this reference is to the book of Genesis, right? The sin in the garden. And it's widely believed that it was an apple, or just an apple as a symbol of the sin in the garden. With the bite out of it, right? Yeah. So you can't make this stuff up, here it is. And yeah, trending, there you go. This kind of thing, if you pay close attention, you'll find these signals all over the place. I've seen the 22 return back and reset code signaled so many times recently. I could make a channel just calling this stuff out. It's remarkable. I wanted to close, not with scripture this time, but with a poem that used to really speak to me. And I think it's appropriate here. One man awake. One man awake awakens another. The second awakens his next door neighbor. And three awake can rouse the town and turn the whole place upside down. And many awake can raise such a fuss that it finally awakens the rest of us. One man up, with dawn in his eyes, multiplies. Is that you? Are you awake? I'm not talking about woke. I'm talking about supernaturally, with the Lord Jesus Christ reigning in your heart and mind. Yeah. That biblical kind of awake. It matters a lot. God bless you. Bye-bye.
