"Will No One Know?" and The Woven Rings of Revelation Project Status

Hey everybody, Bob of the Open Scroll here. I wanted to update you on some of my projects and I'm gonna start out with this. This is a bookstore in Savannah, Georgia. 

It's a bookstore cafe and you can see piles of books magazine for Savannah stuff that people can take and here is a stack of books. "Will No One Know?"  I have a book order an info page. It's a book that I wrote and self-published. Subtitle, "Challenging the traditional reading of Matthew 24:36 - because it matters" and it really does! It's hugely significant. 

And this stack here, this is not the first stack. There was a stack there that disappeared, one by one. These have been disappearing one by one and if you have a bookstore cafe or used bookstore or any place you can maybe put a book or a stack of books, neighborhood book boxes and so on, You put them in and they disappear because people pick them up because they are interested, and I've heard a little bit of feedback, and, Yeah, it's well received, so if you're not already distributing books and you would like to support that effort and get these in circulation. I believe that time is of the essence. It's an urgent thing.

A Project that's been consuming a lot of my time and effort recently is ongoing and It was inspired by this structure of the book of Revelation. Because I'd never seen it put quite this way before but there's about 51, I believe, steps out and back as a big chiasm. I looked at several of these but haven't looked at all of them, but what I found, some were very compelling and others were not, and I thought it was compelling enough to take another approach at my study of the book of Revelation and go through and see what I would find ,so I've done that. You may have seen me introduce this and talk about it a little bit. 

This is the current state of where things are at This isn't on the open scroll website openly yet This is the current version that you'll see on the open scroll and This is the intro page for the woven rings of Revelation Now when I show you this These are thin slices going Through the text and What I'm talking about with woven rings goes beyond thin slices and When I point you to ring, oh, well, let's go look at the inner six It's comprehensive you've probably seen me put these together before in the past and Every verse is accounted for every word of every verse skipping over nothing. There's no thin slice routine It's holistic comprehensive, so I've got commentary embedded on here. You can click on it and Learn a little bit more about what you're looking at But obviously as you hover your mouse over the words of the text there's highlighting that shows Companions and as I hover over 12 1 a the first line here 3 a lights up, right? And if you want to compare them one by one you just change where your mouse goes And so here we see a progression of one two, three four Four lines are repeated in the next four and this is what we call four plus four parallelism and you could say that What appears and is written here in 12 1 and 2 is? Repeated in three to four a in the same order so these things interest some people because We're Bible geeks and we want to know what things mean and if you want to know what things mean There's nothing quite like context to inform you So what is all this structured language about? Well, it's about very detailed Granular precise context Is that useful when it comes to meaning? Oh, absolutely. 

There is so much That we don't know until we get a granular view of the context and then well puzzles are presented and resolved and that's Why this has been a passion of mine for many years and why I go to the extent that I do To put these things together now here We have six inner rings. It pivots around the center of the book and this is Quite a substantial range here yet. There are six and We see one two three, four five six and these are Repeated in six five Four Three two one and There's a lot more When we go back We see that these are ones that I've posted online already the inner six and seven through nine and then ring ten These are the inner rings So the project now is in this state. 

I have those inner rings six of them here and three more and then the tenth and And then I'm still working sorting things out in this inner part And I know that it matches Revelation 8 and 9 to Revelation 16 2 through 18 27. It's a pretty large Block of text there and I haven't got that quite sorted out. It's well underway and Then I've got the outermost rings and we have Revelation 1 matching to 22 the entire chapter so that goes far beyond the scale ring to ring That we looked at here because there's six rings in 12 1 through 13 18 Which is the entirety of chapters 12 and 13? so There's two chapters with six rings and on the outermost. 

There's two chapters with one ring and then here we have Revelation 2 and 3 matching to 21. So we have three chapters with one ring and then again with the third ring we have three chapters matching and then again with the fourth ring we have three chapters matching. So here we have two chapters matching to maybe three chapters 16 17 and 18 - and maybe it's just one ring. Maybe it's more. I'm on the way to finding out but it's pretty involved. 

Let's take a look at these two chapters And I haven't published this yet I'm still Kind of Chipping away at the refinement and the support Information for how they the two sections match up as a ring You'll notice that I don't have any colored text up here in chapter one But I do down here in Chapter 22 and the reason why is to help you see the alignment between these two major sections and When you explore this and you hover over the bars you'll see that the scope increases as you move to the left and You'll see what the patterns are in the repetitions as you hover over the bars that are in a column So, I hope you take an opportunity to explore the ones that I have online already You know the book of Revelation It's unique in that there's a blessing promise for those who read right here verse three of Revelation 1 blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy and heed the things which are written in it For the time is near What does that mean? The time is near? Well There's more insight into what's going on as you explore the structure I've Read several books over the years. I've been to several seminars over the years where people claim to have special insight and discernment into the book and some of it has been compelling enough for me to See it through for whatever it is the book the seminar the series and I've heard a lot of variations a lot of different interpretations. Some are denominational in a sense and based on long-standing tradition some are more recent more independent and If You want to know really How to interpret the book the author goes pretty far in Throwing us clues on how to interpret things Through this structure. 

I've never seen anybody tackle the structure in a way that's comprehensive dealing with the woven rings And yes, I have had several breakthroughs from this kind of study, one when the Lord first introduced me to it. It was a necessity for me to learn how to analyze the structure in second Thessalonians chapter 2, and I couldn't get a breakthrough until I followed through with what He was showing me - analyze the structure and then I had significant breakthroughs that's had huge benefit over the years.
