A Curious Response, and, Where Did the HD Downloads Go?

Hey everybody, Bob of the Open Scroll here. I wanted to talk to you about a couple of things I think you'll find of interest. 

One of them, my web host decided to restructure their pricing and formerly I was able to offer all my videos online as downloadable high definition videos and I'm no longer able to do that because of this pricing structure ,so I've deleted almost all of them from the website, and I've removed the links to them, and what you'll find is that it dramatically impacts the video and audio page. This catalog now just will direct you to BitChute and Brighteon or Rumble, if I've got it up on Rumble. 

If there's a particular one that you would like to be able to download in HD let me know, but if it's batches, you'll probably want to do it by sending me a jump drive, and take care of it that way anyways. 

The other page impacted is the video playlist page. Again, there were links to the HD downloads. They've been scrubbed because those downloads are no longer able to be downloaded and streamed.  

So, the other way I've announced these with links is on the blog. Whenever I produce a video, I put up these links, and I'm going to try to keep these going. I think I can put maybe 6 or 7 without exceeding my cap. So what I'll do is, I'll just add some text and notify you that, if you want the streaming or download, get it right away because it won't last long before I'll have to remove it. 

Every time, I basically will be uploading a new video and deleting an older one off, trying to maintain the maximum allowed in my pricing tier. So, optionally, I suppose if you want to sponsor with a big wad of money to offer these, let me know and we'll re-establish the availability.

What I wanted to talk about next is this book, "Will No One Know?" This is the book and order info you. You can also read it online. What I have done is limited my ability to distribute it because I have no barcode on the cover. I opted to just keep it such that I'm in control of distribution and I haven't passed it off to Amazon or some other institution. 

So along the way, as I've undertaken the distribution, I was surprised early on with some of the response to this in the religious community. It looked like it had potential to kind of go viral in a couple of different communities. After my inability to get any feedback, it became pretty apparent that the promise that there initially was was more kind of a tease and the Lord had something else in mind. 

I finally did get some feedback from one guy who's in a pastoring capacity.  I knew that he'd read up to chapter 5, since last time I was able to get a response from him, and so I recently asked him: "I'm curious. Has the book interested you enough to pick it up again since chapter 5?" He replied back: "Bob yes it has. However, for me the words of Romans 1 and 2 stand out...we are all horrible sinners and unworthy of redemption. Even though we are sinners Christ died for us on the cross. We are only saved by grace. For me, not knowing the day provides an incentive to live every day as Christ instructed us to live."

Yeah, so I prayed about a response, and I didn't really offer much of a response to that. There was another issue involved that I responded to and followed up on, but praying about it, thinking about it, here's really what came to me today about it. So, repeating he said: "For me, not knowing the day provides an incentive to live every day as Christ instructed us to live." And I weighed replying back about my own personal incentive, and I decided that I didn't need to go there. 

So let's think about that, "to live every day as Christ instructed us to live." Let's let's put on our critical thinking caps to reason that out. 

In this book the point is made pretty effectively, I believe, that he instructs us to be found with advanced knowledge of when he comes, promising blessings for those who know and consequences for those who will be surprised. If we choose to dismiss his message about knowing when he comes, could we actually live as Christ instructed us to live on any given day? No. We could either opt out, choosing to cling to the illusion that is promoted so enthusiastically by the heads of the house who hold sway over the church, or we could opt in, embracing our Lord's message in faith knowing he is faithful to his word. That's our choice and we're blessed in this day and hour to be able to make an informed decision. Yet, as I declare in the book, this is a matter of the seeing eye and the hearing ear.

I'm going to read a bit from Matthew 15, 6b through 14, and these would be the red words of Christ, right, in a red letter Bible

15:6b-14
"and by this you invalidated the word of God for the sake of your tradition you hypocrites rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you this people honors me with their lips but their heart is far away from me but in vain do they worship me teaching his doctrines the precepts of men after Jesus called the crowd to him he said to them hear and understand it is not what enters into the mouth that defiles the man but what proceeds out of the mouth this defiles the man then the disciples came and said to him do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this statement but he answered and said every plant which my heavenly father did not plant shall be uprooted let them alone they are blind guides of the blind and if a blind man guides a blind man both will fall into a pit."

True words! So, in your encounters with people, as you speak to people known to be religious people, just keep in mind what the reality is. And, you don't have to confront them with these verses, but it depends on what the Lord leads, and what the context is, and so on. Do as led.

So, the interesting thing here is that I still have yet to hear from some of the other pastors who've got their hands on the book. And I don't know where that's going to go, but we'll see. Regardless, I've had a lot of good response from many of you who have read the book. And many of you have requested it, and I want to encourage continuing to reach out to people. Don't be discouraged by the responses or lack of responses that you get. If you are moved by the message and you feel it's worthwhile, join me! Pitch in, do what you can, as I do what I can. And may the Lord's blessings be accounted in the day of accounting and may our reward be great for ages and ages to come. The Lord has promised exceeding great reward for those who are found presenting the message in the hour, and we don't want to forget about that! Matthew 24, yeah there's a lot that's promised. There's a lot that hinges - the blessings versus the consequences are really vast. 

If you haven't read the book, well, I highly encourage you to give it a read. If it hasn't really stuck with you, well, there's a lot in there. It's rather packed, even though it's brief, so pull it out, read it again. It might only take you a little over an hour
