The Moon Bride
The moon is a messianic Bride symbol just as the sun is a messianic Bridegroom symbol. Just as the moon has no light of its own but reflects the light of the sun and therefore shows its glory, so is the Bride with the Bridegroom.
The commonly used Hebrew word for moon is “levanah,” which is related to the word for white. It is the Bride who will first be robed in white, the color representing righteousness.
The lunar cycle is a time prophecy that has to do with the Bride. If you overheard someone talking about the monthly cycle, most of you would assume the topic of conversation was a woman's monthly cycle. You see, the moon and a woman's fertility cycle are linked together. The Merriam-Webster Medical Dictionary definition of “menstrual” is: 1. Recurring once a month; monthly; gone through in a month; as, the menstrual revolution of the moon; pertaining to monthly changes; as, the menstrual equation of the sun's place.
A woman is a symbol of a church, and particularly of the Bride who will come out of the church of the last Adam's Body. The first woman Eve, who was taken out of the First Adam's body is seen in Genesis 3 as having her ultimate salvation tied to her fruitfulness. There is, in this, a connection between her salvation and the lunar cycle that is her period of fruitfulness. The Bride will have a very special salvation!
The number perhaps most closely associated with the moon is thirteen, because it covers an average of thirteen degrees each day and there are a total of thirteen lunations each year. The Sun and Moon in their relationship are thus in a 13 to 1 ratio because the Sun moves just over one degree per day. The Sun and the Moon together are as the Bridegroom and the Bride pictured in Jesus and his twelve specially chosen disciples - together as thirteen.
The word for moon, levanah is spelled lamed bet nun heh and has the numerical value of 30+2+50+5=87. This is the same value of “pure gold,” - in Infinity Code the chapter 87 is Exodus 37. This chapter describes the furnishings and items in the Temple that are in the most holy place and the holy place. All these items are modeled after what is seen in heaven, prople or groups of people in roles represented by these furnishings.
